Hydration with a Healthy Twist!

Hydraceuticals are functional waters.

"Food/beverage may be described as 'functional' when it can be clearly proven that it does not just have purely nourishment and satiety results, but also influences at least one or more bodily functions either by improving the state of health and/or reducing the risk of illness."

FiberWater
™ is a Functional Water

that goes "Beyond Water"

and is "More than Water"

Both the categories of hydration and dietary fiber have been extremely well researched and subsequently much has been published.

While research goes back many decades it is also on-going, and becoming far more sophisticated.

Until recently, fiber has been presented mainly to the consumer for laxation. Currently we are learning more about the many additional physiological benefits.

For example: Fiber may delay the gastric emptying of ingested food into the small intestine, resulting in a sensation of fullness, which may contribute to weight control. Delayed gastric emptying may also reduce postprandial blood glucose concentrations, and have a beneficial effect on insulin sensitivity. Some fibers can also interfere with the absorption of dietary fat and cholesterol as well as the enterohepatic recirculation of cholesterol and bile acids, which may result in lowering blood cholesterol concentrations.

While not diminishing the importance of hydration my primary focus is to provide additional scientific documentation as related to fiber. I have posted journal articles as well as a link to a bibliography. Finally a link to relevant patents (with kudos to those patent holders because I know, first hand, what it takes to become one).
